It was announced on 11/25 that Eguchi Yousuke will star in Fuji TV’s drama “School!!” (Sundays at 9).

Eguchi will play the role of a passionate civilian principal who fights for the revival of a problem ridden public elementary school. Eguchi was in high spirits about his first school-related drama, “It’s worth doing this role because it centers around children. I want to perform as an energetic courageous adult with the children.”

The protagonist is director of a mid-sized general contractor for 20 years. As a promise to his respected teacher, he is appointed as the principal to his alma mater since it’s in danger of shutting down. He has the ability to fight for change because of his cheerful personality.

This “Civilian Principal” becomes the first hero of the drama. This drama also stars: Nishijima Hidetoshi (39), Kitano Kii (19), Tsukamoto Takashi (28), and Kishibe Ittoku (63).
