Actor Takenouchi Yutaka (40) who is recently appearing in the movie “Taiheiyou no Kiseki Fox to Yobareta Otoko” (opening 2/11 nationwide) made a surprise appearance at a university in Kyoto for a public commemorative event.

Takenouchi, who portrayed a captain who survived through the Pacific war, attended a special lecture at the university given by military science head Mr. Matsuda along with 200 students. At the end of the lecture Takenouchi was introduced to the crowd by a news caster and that’s when all of the students yelled, “It’s really him!”

Takenouchi commented about guns and how the sound of a gun taking a person’s life is horrible. He also told the crowd of students to use his movie as a learning aid.
