Singer/actor Nishikawa Takanori (40) also known as T.M. Revolution and actress Natsuna (21) will be starring in a remake of the popular 1970s drama “Okusama wa 18 sai” (My wife is 18 years old). The drama is slated to air 3/27 on Fuji. The original drama was an overwhelming masterpiece which starred the late Ishidate Tetsuo and Okazaki Yuki.

The story depicts a high school teacher who is secretly married to a female high school student. The drama was originally based off of a comic by Kimura Miyoko. TBS originally aired the drama for a whole year starting in September of 1970. The hugely popular drama holds the highest ratings with 31.1% and started the high school rom-com boom in dramas.

T.M. Revolution who will be using his real name (Nishikawa Takanori) for this project will be portraying a Japanese Language teacher. This will also be the first time that Nishikawa will be a lead in a drama. Nishikawa’s cute high school bride will be portrayed by newcomer Natsuna who can currently be seen in the movie “GANTZ.”

The drama will air 3/27 at 10PM with a total of 4 episodes.
