Synopsis

Sawamoto Daichi is a brilliant reporter in the social affairs department of Sanwa Newspaper. Respected within the company for his uncompromising work ethic, Daichi has broken numerous exclusive stories through his relentless pursuit of subjects and unwavering dedication to investigative journalism.

His professional success takes a devastating personal turn when, one day, Daichi returns home to discover his wife Kaori has vanished without warning. Their six-year-old son Waku does not know his mother’s whereabouts. The only thing left behind is divorce papers placed conspicuously on the table, forcing Daichi to confront an unexpected personal crisis that contrasts sharply with his controlled professional life.
